Encourage it the other direction in your games, and you'll be fine. Other matches are just people having a terrible game, not true intentional feeding. The other 4 of us had fun and played a productive match. Of course it would've been a mess if we had all just flamed her and given up with her, but it wasn't. The whole team just muted her and ignored her, we used her as bait to kill enemies, etc. Ended that game 21-2, with our "botlane leblanc" running it down mid feeding my opposing Ekko from about 4 minutes onward. I've had a true "I'm just gonna int you" player in 1 out of my last 39 games. Or in league terms screaming at the random stranger on their team who missed a hook for the 5th time this game.

Tons of people are just here to enjoy the competitive game that they love, while a smaller portion are screaming at the TV when the ref doesn't call that foul for the 3rd time this game. League is honestly like any other competitive community. NFL fans will commonly get fed up and stop watching/leave a game before it's even 1/2 over because "fuck this this is over the refs this, the coach that, we're getting screwed". Hockey even the players will literally stop and fight it out on the ice.
In some places it's not even an uncommon occurrence to have crazy things happen after an important match. Football(SoccerNA) fans will literally burn things, beat each other, at times kill each other - All over a play in a match that they were watching. Of course you'll get an occasional person with a room temp IQ who just can't help but show it, but in general the community isn't that terrible.Ĭompare it to other truly competitive things. If you're constructive with your chat, you mute/ignore disruptive players, you recommend your teammates do the same, etc - It's really not bad. On the other hand, put good in get good out. I'm a pretty firm believer that your matches are as toxic as you are, on average.
